Basement Contractors Serving Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama & Georgia

Precast concrete basements — engineered in-house, delivered to your site, and installed in a day, not a week.

Since 2003, Warrior Precast has been the basement contractor builders and homeowners call when they want it done fast, straight, and dry. We manufacture precast concrete basement walls at our Rock Island, TN facility, deliver them directly to your job site, and install them with our own in-house crews, no subcontractors, no weather delays, no guesswork.

Faster than poured. Straighter than block. Built for performance.

Why Builders Choose Warrior Precast as Their Basement Contractor

Most basement contractors pour walls on-site or stack block by hand. Both methods depend on weather, cure times, and crew availability. We build differently.

Our basement construction process starts in a factory-controlled setting, where stationary forms produce walls square to your specifications with 5,000+ PSI concrete reinforced with steel rebar. Your basement walls arrive pre-insulated, pre-studded for drywall, with access holes for wiring and openings for windows and doors already built in. What takes a poured-wall crew weeks, our crews set in hours — in virtually any weather, year-round.

What that means for your project:

  • Speed — Walls set in a day keep framing crews on schedule and cut carrying costs.
  • Precision — Factory forms guarantee square, plumb walls. No bowing, no honeycomb, no cold joints.
  • Dry, insulated space — High-density concrete, sealed joints, crushed stone footer, and perimeter drainage keep basements dry without additional damp-proofing. Over 20% of a building’s energy loss can occur through the basement — our pre-insulated walls close that gap.
  • One accountable crew — We’re a self-performing contractor. The team that engineered your walls delivers and installs them.

Frequently Asked Questions About Basement Construction

How much does a precast concrete basement cost?

Precast basement cost depends on wall height, linear footage, and site access, but total installed cost is typically comparable to poured concrete once you account for insulation, damp-proofing, and framing prep that precast includes and poured walls don’t. Most projects also save carrying costs because walls install in one day. Contact Warrior Precast for a free project-specific quote.

How long does it take to install a precast basement?

Most residential precast basements are installed in a single day. Once the excavation and crushed-stone footer are ready, our crew sets, levels, and seals the wall panels in hours; compared to one to three weeks for poured walls, which require forming, pouring, curing, and stripping before framing can begin.

Are precast basement walls better than poured concrete?

Precast walls are cast in factory-controlled forms, so they arrive square, plumb, and cured at 5,000+ PSI, stronger than typical 3,000 PSI site-poured walls. They include built-in insulation, studs, and utility access holes, install in any weather, and require no additional damp-proofing. Poured walls depend on weather, on-site form quality, and cure time.

Do precast basements leak?

A properly installed precast basement stays dry by design. Warrior Precast walls use high-density, non-porous concrete that requires no additional damp-proofing, joints sealed with a triple bead of Superior Sealant, and a crushed-stone footer with perimeter drainage that channels water away from the foundation.

Can you build a walkout basement on a sloped lot?

Yes. Sloped lots are ideal for precast walkout basements. Panels are custom-engineered so wall heights step with the grade, and door and window openings are cast into the panels at the factory, no field-cutting. The result is a daylight basement that adds finished living space at the lowest cost per square foot in the house.

What areas do you serve?

Warrior Precast installs basements across Middle and East Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, Northern Alabama, and Northwest Georgia from our manufacturing facility in Rock Island, TN. Because we build, deliver, and install with our own crews and trucks, we serve the entire region on reliable schedules year-round.

Do you work with homeowners or only builders?

Both. Builders make up much of our work, we’ve been in your boots since 2003, but we also work directly with homeowners building custom homes. Our quote process asks whether you have a contractor and completed plans, and we can coordinate with your builder, excavator, or architect at any stage.

Can precast basement walls be installed in winter?

Yes. Because the concrete is cast and cured in our factory, there’s no on-site pour to protect from freezing. Precast basements install year-round in virtually any weather, one of the biggest schedule advantages over poured walls, which face cold-weather concrete restrictions across Tennessee and Kentucky winters.

Are precast basement walls energy efficient?

Yes. Over 20% of a building’s energy loss can occur through the basement. Warrior Precast walls arrive with one-inch foam-insulated concrete studs and insulated bond beams built in, creating a thermal barrier that reduces heating and cooling costs and makes the basement comfortable, finished or unfinished.

Are Warrior Precast basements code compliant?

Yes. Our Superior Walls Xi™ wall systems carry Code Evaluation Service Report ESR-1662 and are manufactured as a third-party inspected engineered system in accordance with national standards for residential concrete construction. We work with building officials as allies, not obstacles.
